Music Institute at Carrollton Square and its clients abide by these policies. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Attendance: When a student enrolls for a term, he/she commits to attend our school for that same length of time.
Given that our teachers will reserve that time for teaching particular clients or groups of clients, students are expected to make the most of these reserved times and try to attend their lessons as scheduled.
If a student has to miss for whatever reason, make-ups will not be offered.  Since our teachers commit to being at MIC² on certain days of the week, make-ups are not possible.  However, when a teacher has to miss a lesson, MIC² will ensure that those lessons are made up (either by your teacher or another one of our faculty members).

In order to keep our prices affordable and accessible to our students, we need to have firm policies in place.  These changes will take effect for the 2018-2019 Academic Year.  Please let us know if you have any questions about the information below.

At MIC² we offer a comprehensive program. Since we offer much more than individual lessons, tuition is charged for each term as a unit, and not by individual lessons or contact hours. In the event that a student were to drop lessons after enrolling, there will be no refunds for enrollment fees or tuition of short-term programs.  The grand total amount of tuition will be paid in this manner: students will pay an enrollment fee and fill out enrollment paperwork.  The first month's tuition will be pro-rated if registering mid-year.  The remaining monthly payments (of which the final invoice will be sent at the beginning of August 2019) will all be equal and due upon receipt.

We will securely keep your credit card number on file.  This card will be billed in the event that you use autopay, or if you drop lessons and still have a balance.  In addition, if you owe more than one month of tuition, your lessons may be suspended until your account is current, and your credit card on file will be billed.  This automatic charge will occur one month after the grace period ends.

Invoices will be sent out to all students during the last week of the month.  All bills are then due by the first day of the following month.  There will be a 7-day grace period, during which you may make payments without any penalty.  A late fee of $30 will be implemented on the 8th of the month if you have a remaining balance.

Discontinuing Lessons:
In order to drop lessons officially, you need to fill email or notify the reception staff..  This date—and not the date of your last lesson—will be the official date when you discontinue from lessons. If you have purchased a block of 4 lessons you will not be issued a refund.

In the event that you cannot complete the year-long membership (ongoing lessons starting on August 20, 2018 through August 2019), you will be responsible to pay tuition for the entire month during which you drop.  For example, if you need to drop lessons at any point in April, you still need to pay the invoice that will be sent at the end of April; if you drop at any point in November, you need to pay the invoice that will be sent at the end of November.

Tuition and enrollment fees are non-refundable.
